Eugene J. Schiavo, of Baltimore, MD, passed away on November 5, 2014. He was 80. He was the son of the late Samuel Schiavo and Pauline Cirelli Schiavo Pizza, loving brother of Anthony Schiavo and his wife Mary Ellen Schiavo, and is also survived by numerous cousins. He would be known from his work in restaurants in Little Italy, especially Vellegia’s.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 7, 2014, at 1:30 PM, at Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens, 5598 Trumps Mill Road, Baltimore, MD 21206. Contributions may be made in his memory to St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 227 Exeter Street, Baltimore, MD 21202.
