Robert Carmen Badessa, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2015. He was 66.
Mr. Badessa was born in Philadelphia, PA, to Joseph Conceptione Badessa and Annadomenica Masci Badessa. He was a graduate of Bishop Newman High School and the Drexel Institute of Technology. He was a Controller for Noxell and a Finance Director for Proctor and Gamble.
Mr. Badessa was the devoted husband of 44 years to Susann Ranieri Badessa, loving father of Jeffrey Joseph Badessa and his wife Kristen Smith Badessa of Jarrettsville, MD, and the late Jennifer Lorraine Badessa. He was the adored grandfather of Dominic and Olivia Badessa and dear brother of Joseph Badessa and his wife Lorraine Roseto of Naples, FL, and Maria Badessa of Tampa, FL.
Mr. Badessa was a member of the Jarrettsville Lions Club and the Havre de Grace Lions Club and the Bulle Rock Community Association. He was also a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. He loved golfing.
A viewing will be held on Friday, January 30, 2015, from 11:00 AM until 7:00 PM, and on Saturday, January 31, 2015, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD. A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015, at 12:00 PM, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 615 Congress Avenue, Havre de Grace, MD 21078.
