Frances W. Martz

On May 31, 2010, Frances W. Martz, of Havre de Grace, beloved mother of Carol Petrosino and her husband Victor, loving grandmother of Gregory Petrosino, dear cousin of Doris Glassman. Also survived by many relatives and friends.

Mrs. Martz was a deacon at the Havre de Grace Presbyterian Church for many years, a member of the Young at Hearts Club, and was an avid BINGO player. Mrs. Martz loved knitting, making almost all of her pieces for the enjoyment of others. When she was not knitting, she was gardening, glorifying God’s name by creating beauty in this world. Mrs. Martz was also a hard worker in many aspects of retail sales.

A viewing will be held at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A. 123 S. Washington St. Havre de Grace, MD 21078 on Friday, June 4, 2010, from 3 – 5 PM and 7 -9 PM, where a Funeral Service will be held Saturday, June 5, 2010, beginning at 10 AM. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Havre de Grace Presbyterian Church 551 Franklin St. Havre de Grace, Maryland 21078.
