Larry C. Owen Sr., 67,  of Havre de Grace, MD.,  passed peacefully on Dec. 25, 2010 with his son, Larry Jr. at his side.

He was born on November 15, 1944 in Havre de Grace, MD, to the late Paris L. and Edna (Johnson) Owen.

“Pop” was an avid hunter; fisherman and outdoorsman who loved to listen to music, watch old westerns and read.

He was the father of Sherry Beiniek , Larry Owen Jr, Michael Owen, Laurie Fallon, Michelle Owen and Donna Sullivan. He was the grandfather of Todd Lynch, Jennifer Fillmore, Jylbeth Lynch, Lea Cataggio, Colby and Kasi Owen and Michael Fallon and Great grandfather of  Kimberlee, Kaylob, Kevyn Lynch. He is also survived by his sisters, Barbara Pierce, Patricia Owen and Linda Lucas, brothers, Jimmy and Monty Owen, and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased in death by his parents, his wife Barbara Owen as well as brothers Jerry and Jon Owen.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 5, from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 PM. Pastor Ron Smith will officiate.
