Pre-Planning
Every day we plan ahead for situations and events, such as education, having a family, vacations, weddings and retirement. We even purchase insurance coverage for things that could happen, but may not.
Considering all of this, shouldn’t we also think ahead to preplan our funeral service? It is never easy to think about arranging your funeral, by pre-arranging your family knows that they are honoring you just they way you would have wanted.
Pre-arranging allows you to:
- choose the type of service you would like (ie church service, simple memorial, burial or cremation),
- have a better understanding of possible benefits at the time of death, for your survivors, such as social security, veteran benefits and life insurance claims,
- relieve the financial and emotional burden typically left on your family and friends.
