Obituary for James Elmer Elseroad Jr.

James E. Elseroad, Jr., formerly of Glen Burnie, MD and Summit Point, WV, passed away on May 19, 2015 following a lengthy illness. He was 61. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Gail C. Elseroad of Aberdeen, MD.

He was born in Baltimore, MD to the late James E. Elseroad, Sr. and Pearl Venida (Robison) Elseroad.

He was father to Emma Elseroad, Benjamin Elseroad, Alexander Elseroad, Heather Conner, Lindsay Drexler and her husband Joshua, Jennifer Jeffries and her husband Zachary, and Steve Clayton and his husband Brad. He was grandfather to Spencer, Gracie, Oliver and Delilah. He was the brother of Donald Elseroad, the late Ira and the late Patricia.

Jim was the owner and President of Best Exterminator Co., Inc. He enjoyed composing music and writing poetry, as well as playing bluegrass and rock music. His other interests were camping, travel, and playing pinball. In his spare time, he was always on the lookout for termites! He was a member of Glen Burnie United Methodist Church and a former member of both the MD and National Pest Control Associations.

A viewing will be held on Friday, May 22, 2015 from 6 to 8 P.M. at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD. A second visitation and viewing will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2015 from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. at the Grace United Methodist Church, 110 W. Bel Air Avenue, Aberdeen, MD. Funeral services will begin at 10:30 A.M.

Interment will be held at the Hutson Cemetery in Rawlings, MD.
