Condolence From: Jay Orick
Condolence: Hey Gene, sorry to hear about you. I didn’t know you were gone. I thought as mean as you were, you would never pass away. Haha. I thought you were still alive and living in Harrington. Sorry I abandoned you, just we get caught up in our own lives we sometimes forget about others. You will be missed. Hope to see you again on the other side.

Condolence From: Abigail Smith- Pinnacle
Condolence: My condolences are with the family. I am a receptionist at Pinnacle nursing home in Smyrna. Mr. Zellman was a very great man he made my nights better by just simply saying hello. Even on some of my worst nights Mr. Zellman could bright them up. He had a passion for making the little kids smile with all of his stuffed animals.

Condolence From: Cortney Lang - Pinnacle
Condolence: My condolences are with the family of Gene Zellman. I am sure everyone knew Mr. Zellman at a different point in his life and may have varying views about him. I worked reception at Pinnacle Rehab in Smyrna, DE and Mr. Zellman became one of the highlights of any day for me. He would roll in and bring me popcorn or just come to chat about his life and the drama with residents. He could be a trouble maker at times -- especially when it involved bingo. He came to me one day and had a fit because they kicked him out of the game and banned him for two weeks! I knew Mr. Zellman to have a good heart and quite the ladies man. He would always visit me during my shift and be waiting at the time clock when I left for the day. He will be greatly missed by everyone here at Pinnacle and may he rest in peace.
