Obituary for Frederick E. Warden Sr.

Frederick E. Warden, Sr., of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on September 23, 2018. He was 93.
Mr. Warden was born in Portsmouth, Ohio, to Robert Clifton Warden and Grace Ann Wessel Warden. He was the devoted husband of 50 years to Clara M. Warden, loving father of Teresa Scott, Tammy Stoneberg, Nadine Burns, Frederick E. Warden, Jr., and the late James Whitehead. Mr. Warden was survived by nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by one grandchild and all his siblings.
Mr. Warden served in the U.S. Navy and then the U.S. Army, and was a veteran of WWII, the Korean War, and Vietnam. He was a member of the American Legion Post 47 and VFW Post 8126. He enjoyed woodworking and building boats and showcases for boats. He loved eating steamed crabs and telling stories of his past.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at 11:00 AM, at Angel Hill Cemetery, Ohio St., Havre de Grace, MD. Pastor Ron Smith will officiate.
