Obituary for Ana Marie Smith (Butler)
Ana Marie Smith, 90, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2021 at Citizens Care Center surrounded by her family.
Born in Delta, PA on November 22, 1930, Ana was the daughter of the late Harry and Ruby Butler. She was employed for many years for Harford County Public Schools as an Administrative Assistant at Havre de Grace Elementary School. She was an active member of the Presbyterian Church of Havre de Grace..
Surviving to cherish her memory are her sons, Gregory Lewis Smith (Phyllis) of Havre de Grace, and Michael Lewis Smith (Sheila) of Prairieville, LA, a grandson Shaun Smith (Elizabeth); and three great grandchildren, Rory, Sarah and Ryan. She was preceded in death by her husband Clyde Lewis “Smitty” Smith who died in 2008, her brother George Butler, and her sister Virginia Pentz.
A memorial service will be held at the Presbyterian Church of Havre de Grace, 551 Franklin Street on Wednesday July 21, 2021 at 11:00 am with a visitation at the church beginning at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Harford Memorial Gardens. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Presbyterian Church of Havre de Grace.
