Condolence From: Susan Garrett
Condolence: I have called you "Mom" since shortly after I met you in 1973. You were not only my mother-in-law of 40 plus years but you were the one I have considered the mother I pretty much never had! Mom, you will ALWAYS be in my heart and in my thoughts!!! Thank you for embracing this broken birdie all those years ago & for calling me your own. Thank you for the healing & restoration that has come to me through you! Thank you for the love you have shown to my four children, daughter-in-law & grandchildren through many a visit, many a Sunday dinner, & many a Scrabble or Gin-Rummy game! And most of all, thank you for the son you raised who has loved me & cared for me since he rescued me all those years ago! You will be missed. Will much love & much gratitude, Your 'adopted' daughter, Susan

Condolence From: Catherine Garrett
Condolence: My dear Grandma-in-law, like the rest of the family, you have been so welcoming when I entered the Garrett family. You shared stories of the family through the years and of your own life as a young woman growing up in the US during the 20's and 30's and then how it was like for you during WWII. It was fascinating for me to be immersed in your memories especially coming from the "old" continent. I will miss you greatly. With all my love Catherine
