Obituary for Cheryl Ann Cregar

Cheryl Ann Cregar went to heaven on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at 68 years old. Cheryl was a student of Aberdeen High School Class of 70. She attended culinary arts school, worked on the toll bridge and had a chauffeur’s license. Cheryl later became a homemaker. Everyone who knew Cheryl always had a good story, memory, or kind words to tell despite the many demons and obstacles she encountered throughout her life. She was exceptionally good to others. Often giving her last of something to help someone else. She was quick to serve up a meal when company would stop by and many remember her by her good cooking. Cheryl would keep you laughing with her witty and unpredictable personality. With Cheryl, you just never knew what was next. She had a good heart, everyone knew Cheryl and everyone loved her.

Cheryl loved music and knew all the lyrics to every song from the 50’s and 60’s. She was always singing. Cheryl was fluent with Bible scriptures and is often known to quiz others on their knowledge. And man, did she love her Pepsi and animals! She was strong willed, had a very good memory, forgetting nothing and possessed radar ears, hearing anything she wasn’t meant to hear.

Cheryl is survived by her two daughters, Lea Ann Jones (Joseph Jones), of Aberdeen and Ricki LynLe Cregar-Walker, of Middle River. 5 grandchildren, Jacob Conner Brennan, Kaitlyn Elizabeth Jones, Natalie Quinn Jones, Mitchell Cole Jones, and Sir Anthony Tyler Asendorf. Cheryl is predeceased by her brother, Ricky Lewis Cregar, and sister Betty Lorraine Sheets. Cheryl is survived by her brother Daniel David DuBree of Texas, Raymond Donald Cregar of Aberdeen, Maryland.

Cheryl will lay to rest at Bel Air Memorial Gardens, Graceland area along side of her brother Ricky Lewis Cregar as she wished. She wanted everyone to know she died of a broken heart.
