The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Constance Hedges can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Constance Rae "Connie" Hedges

Constance Rae "Connie"  Hedges
Constance “Connie” Rae Hedges of Aberdeen, Maryland, passed away on October 28, 2015. She was 65.
Connie was born in Berkley County, West Virginia, to the late Walter Raymond Hedges and Winifred “Louise” Avella Blakeley of Havre de Grace. She was the loving mother of three children, Christina Nicole Wright McKinnon of Kapolei, HI, Crystal Michelle Troesch Wright of Aberdeen, MD, and Joshua Nathaniel Troesch Kauffman of Columbia, MD. She was the dear sister of Dennis Charles Hedges, Joan Evon Sterndale, Terri Hedges Cox, Patricia Louise Hedges, and the late Lawrence Wyatt Rogers.
Connie worked in nursing for several years. She then started in childcare, and owned and operated Connie’s Nature Camp. She loved story-writing and was very artistic. She enjoyed nature, music and antiques. Most of all, she loved taking care of her daughter and being with her family.
A viewing will be held on Monday, November 2, 2015, from 11 AM until 12 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM. Pastor Kenneth Coleman and Pastor Craig McLaughlin will officiate. Interment will be at Harford Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Joshua Troesch Kauffman, Dennis Hedges, Jerry Cox, Jeremy Cox, Brandon Dvorak, and Tony DeCarlo. Howard Blakeley will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
