Obituary for David Dean Truitt
David Dean Truitt, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on February 13, 2023. He was 84 years old.
He was born November 7, 1938, the son of Samuel and Gladys Truitt, of Sudlersville, MD. His wife, Elizabeth, survives him and he was previously married to Ruth, He had no descendants.
After graduating from Sudlersville High School in 1956, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served from 1956 to 1959. He then attended Washington College in Chestertown, graduating in 1964. Thereafter, he was employed for his entire professional career in banking in Annapolis. He had lifetime devotions to his sports car and bicycling hobbies. At the time of his death, he and Elizabeth resided in Havre de Grace, MD. His Faith was a belief that all things are created by a mystical source, things both known and unknown.
His remains will be cremated and put to rest in Arlington National Cemetery on a later date. There will be no viewing or other services.
