Obituary for Dorothy Irene Lee (Singleton)
Dorothy I. Lee of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2019 at the Harford Memorial Hospital. She was the devoted wife of 57 years to Bobby R. Lee.
Mrs. Lee was born in Elkton, MD, to the late Joseph William and Dorothy Irene (Smith) Singleton. She was the mother of Bobby R. Lee, Jr., William L. Lee, Penny M. Lee and Linda K. Stroud. She was the loving grandmother of five and great-grandmother of two. She was a school bus driver for many years. She had also had the honor of working and driving a bus at the Atlanta Olympic Games. She was a devoted member for many years of the First Christian Church in Havre de Grace, MD. She loved caring for her grandchildren and helping take care of them. She will always be remembered for her willingness to help others who were less fortunate than her.
