Obituary for Evelyn Ann James Feeney

Evelyn Ann James Feeney, of the Old Bay Farm outside of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on September 30, 2018. She was 25.
She was the fifth generation to live on her family farm and was the beloved daughter of Brian Bruce Feeney and Mary-Dulany James. She was the loving older sister of Grant Feeney and Jarrett James.
Evelyn proudly graduated salutatorian from the Tome School where she was a significant contributor to their literary magazine, Phantasmagoria and founded their continuing drama club, which holds an original production yearly. Also while in high school, because of her love of theatre and children, she started a drama program at the Boys and Girls Club, helping the children put on their first play.
Evelyn was dedicated to cinema and the arts, especially in New York City where she lived for two years. She wrote screenplays and created photographic portfolios. Evelyn was an avid reader and loved literature, cinema and photography. Currently, Evelyn was a senior at Johns Hopkins University majoring in film. Evelyn’s love and capacity to love along with her kindness, creative spirit and shining intellect were her greatest virtues. She inspired all who knew her.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2018, from 5-8 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington St., Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 19, 2018, at 2:00 PM, at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 114 North Union Avenue, Havre de Grace, MD. The Rev. T. James Snodgrass will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Harford Community College, 401 Thomas Run Road, Bel Air, MD 21015, or the Tome School, 581 South Maryland Avenue, North East, MD 21901, where scholarships will be created in her name.
