Fred Jack  Vanorsdale
Fred Jack Vanorsdale, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on January 19, 2018. He was 80.
Mr. Vanorsdale was born in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia to Frank and Laura Vanorsdale. He was the devoted husband of 40 years to Linda Vanorsdale, loving father of Raymond “Ray” Andrew Vanorsdale of Havre de Grace, MD, and the late Valerie Hutzel. Mr. Vanorsdale had 10 grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Della Bolt of Texas, and was predeceased by his other siblings.
Mr. Vanorsdale served in the U.S Army from 1959-1962. He was a postman in Havre de Grace and after retirement, he was a cab driver. He was a 37-year member and Past-Commander of the American Legion Post 47. Mr. Vanorsdale was also a member of the Odd Fellows Club and the Lion’s Club. He enjoyed antique cars and being with his family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 22, 2018, at 1:00 PM, at American Legion Post 47, 501 St. Johns Street, Havre de Grace, MD 21078.
