Obituary for Gale Aldrich
Gale Aldrich of Elkton, MD went home to be with Jesus on August 17, 2022. He was 87.
Mr. Aldrich was born in Ventura, CA to John Aldrich and Fern Burdick Aldrich. He was the devoted husband of Vesta Barker Aldrich, dad to Arlen Ray Hall (Carol) of Lynchburg, VA, Brenda Wettig (Bob) of Perryville, MD, and Renae Hall of Bakersville, CA; grandfather of Teresa Brown, Jason Hall, Heather Hall, Katelynn Coleman, Amy Vitak, Angie Constantino, Zhenya Wettig, Dustin Hall, and the late David Richards; and great-grandfather of Mackenzie, Jacob, Corbin, Natalie, Nick, Maddy, and Kai. Mr. Aldrich was the brother of Garry Aldrich, Judith Kinsfather (John), Douglas Aldrich, all of Twain Harte, CA, and the late Barry Aldrich. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Aldrich was a letter carrier for the U.S. Post Office for 35 years. When he was younger, he served in the Army Reserves in California. He enjoyed square dancing and met his wife of 39 years doing so. From there, he set an example of doting on her and adoring her and spending time with his family. He was an avid reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles and working in his yard.
Services for Mr. Aldrich will be private.
