Obituary for Gary Allen Gray

Gary Allen  Gray
Gary Allen Gray of Conowingo, MD passed away at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. He was 67 and the devoted husband for 27 years to Laurie Gray.
Mr. Gray was born in Annapolis, MD to Charles Shai and the late Julia (Wolford) Shai. He was the loving father to Brenda Elaine Klein and her husband Brian. He was the brother to Michael Shai, Darryl Gray and Theresa “Sam” Allan.
Gary loved dogs, reading and was a member of the Havre de Grace United Methodist Church. His favorite pastimes include; eating steamed crabs at the Wellwood in Cecil County and the Bayou, watching the Baltimore Orioles and the Baltimore Ravens and listening to Gospel, Blue Grass music and Joyce Meyer’s Ministries. He was an avid historian, especially if it related to the Civil War and the Surratt House. Above all he truly loved his family and spending time with them.
A viewing will be held on Friday, October 5, 2018 from 3 to 5 P.M. & 7 to 9 P.M. at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD 21078.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 11 A.M. at the Havre de Grace United Methodist Church, 101 S. Union Avenue, Havre de Grace, MD with Pastor Norman Obenshain officiating.
