George “Eddie” Smith, passed away on November 2, 2020 at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, surrounded by the love of his family. He was 64 years old. Born in Baltimore, MD to the late Emory H. and Edith F. (Meadows) Smith. He was the devoted father to Jennifer Anderson and Janice Smith, loving grandfather to Cody Anderson (Briana), Christopher Anderson, Jr., Sebastian Anderson, Elexis Smith and Dylan Skrivanek. He was the adoring great-grandfather of Cody Anderson, Jr., Carter Anderson and Cristian Anderson. He is survived by his brother Craig Smith and sister Nancy Cave.
Eddie was a graduate of Havre de Grace High School, where after graduation he worked in carpentry. He was an avid fan of the Ravens, Orioles, and the Raiders. He enjoyed playing pool, softball and enjoying the outdoors. His favorite time was spent with his family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 5 P.M. the VFW Post #8126, 300 North Lodge Lane, Havre de Grace, MD 21078
