Obituary for Harold Eugene Eckert
Harold Eugene Eckert, of Cumming, Georgia, passed away on November 1, 2022. He was 79.
Mr. Eckert was born in Berks County, PA, to Ira Eckert and Mary Rhoades Eckert. He was the husband of the late Barbara Ann Eckert, loving father of Penny Mae Eckert, brother of Carol Shore, Dennis Eckert, Barry Eckert, Neal Eckert, Dean Eckert, and the late Richard Eckert, Ronald Eckert, Karen Eckert, and Allan Eckert.
Mr. Eckert was an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan. He was an excellent baker and enjoyed sharing his creations with friends and family. He also enjoyed playing pinochle every week, even when he lost. It was the game that mattered. Mr. Eckert was extremely active at the Forsyth County Senior Center and enjoyed his many friends there. He had a big heart and will be missed by his family, friends and neighbors.
