Hazel I. Blevins

Hazel I. Blevins of Havre de Grace, MD passed away surrounded by her family on April 1, 2012 at the Citizens Care Center. She was 90.

Mrs. Blevins was born in Grayson County, Virginia to the late James F. and Phoebe Jane (Waddell) Reedy. She was the loving wife of the late Howard Blevins.

Mrs. Blevins was a devoted mother to Sandra B. Hash and the Late Cheryl Eberhardt. She cherished her Sons-in-Law Harmon Hash and Charles Eberhardt. She was the grandmother to Kimberly Spence, Kevin Eberhardt, Kelley Wettig and Brandon Kessler. She was the adoring great-grandmother of five and great-great grandmother of seven. She was predeceased by her brothers and sister; the late Morgan Reedy, James Reedy and Dorothy Jenkin.

Hazel had retired from the Perry Point VA Medical Center as a Registered Nurse. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Havre de Grace, where she had also volunteered in many events and organizations. She loved being social and enjoying time with family and friends. Mrs. Blevins enjoyed traveling, reading and spending time at her beach home in Bethany.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2012 from 11 A.M. to 12 P.M. at the First Baptist Church, 108 S. Stokes Street, Havre de Grace, MD 21078, where a Funeral Service will be held at 12 P.M.

Interment will be at the Harford Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Kessler, Brad Spence, Harmon Hash, Charles Eberhardt, Bay Wettig, Jr. and Mark Spence. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kevin Eberhardt and Bay Wettig, III
