Ida Claudette Ishbaugh of Havre de Grace, MD passed away surrounded by the love of her family on June 13, 2020. She was 84 and the beloved wife of the late Robert L. Ishbaugh.
Born in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Raymond L. and Ada Zella (Griffith) McCracken. She was the devoted mother of Shari B. Buchanan (Jack Buchanan, Jr.), Deborah L. Turner (Ron Turner) and Robert S. “Scott” Ishbaugh. She was the adoring grandmother of Christine A. Avalos (Ryan), Nicholas S. Buchanan (Kimberly), Daniel L. Turner (Brittany), Bethany B. Avalos (Chad) and Tessa L. Turner and great-grandmother of Caleb Walker, Kenadie Buchanan, Emerson Avalos, Elliott Avalos, Ty Avalos, Hayden Jennings, Kyleigh Turner, Remington Turner, Eli Avalos and Oakley Avalos. She was predeceased by her brothers Kemp McCracken (Kim) and Raymond McCracken and survived by her sister-in-law Barbara.
Ida loved cooking, baking, and making special treats such as fudge, puddings, and cinnamon rolls. She enjoyed playing her piano, crafts, drawing, specifically her ash art and was known to be very artistic. She was devoted in her faith a believer in Jesus Christ. Ida cherished her time with family and loved spending time with her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held on Friday June 19, 2020 from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD 21078. Where a funeral service will be held at 11 A.M.
