Obituary for James Michael Shiflett
James Michael Shiflett, of Perryville, MD, passed away on August 30, 2023. He was 64.
Mr. Shiflett was born in Dundalk, MD, to James Wesley Shiflett and Rosalee Lillian Ouimett Shiflett. He was the devoted husband of 31 years to Theresa Diana Shiflett, loving father of Michael Shiflett (Kelly), of North East, MD, and Robert Higgs of Elkton, MD, and grandfather of Maverick Shiflett. He was the brother of Anthony “Tony” Shiflett (Anne), and Brian Shiflett (Kimberly). He was predeceased by his mother.
Mr. Shiflett grew up in Dundalk, and then moved to Bel Air. He was a member of St. Margaret’s Catholic Church. He loved watching sports and was an avid Orioles and Ravens fan. When he was younger, he played several sports including football, baseball, and golf.
