I remember many things about my brother. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was not afraid to use it. I remember when he was three there was a small fire in our house and I pulled him from his crib and drug him into the kitchen where my parents where. I remember before he started elementary school my mother would take him toy shopping daily while my sister and I were in school. I remember neighborhood baseball games, football games, and the Tarzan call. I remember he had to make a paddle for use on our butts after we got caught building a fire in the hay loft. I remember when he used his outstretched arm to hold my really angry mother at bay while she tried to spank him with her wooden spoon. I remember that he was on the all state soccer team. I remember Donna and John standing in the drive way when my brother said, “Dad, I sank the boat”. I remember playing cards in the basement and throwing darts at Laura. I remember he always respected Libby. I remember my father calling him “Johnnie Russ” and his friends calling him “beach boy”. I remember he used to sneak up behind my mother and kiss her on the neck and it always made her laugh. I remember he used to come visit me when I was in college. I remember his wedding and the birth of his sons John Russell and Robbie. I remember family Thanksgiving at my house. I remember family Christmas and lots of pool parties at Mom and Dad’s. I remember that for many years he suffered terribly with migraines but he was strong and always pushed through. He is resting in peace now with our parents and his son, Robbie.....Love Pink
