Obituary for John Douglas "Jack" DuBree
John Douglas “Jack” DuBree of Aberdeen passed away on Jan 19, 2022. Born at home near Level MD on April 29, 1934; to William J. (Bill) DuBree and Mabel Lorena Dagg DuBree, he was a lifetime resident of Harford County.
Jack served in the US Army from July 1952 until receiving an honorable discharge in July 1955; spending from Feb 1953 until June 1954 deployed to Korea. Jack retired from the J.M. Huber corporation in Havre De Grace after a 36-year career. He enjoyed many years bowling and pitching horseshoes. He loved listening to his beagles run, gardening, telling stories, meeting new people, playing cards with friends and almost weekly evenings listing to classic county music while dancing. Predeceased by his longtime companion Evelyn Kleinsorgen and his brother Robert (Bud) DuBree; he is survived by son Jay D. DuBree and his wife Bonita.
A Celebration of life will be held April 24, 2022, 2:00pm at Hopkins Farm Brewery, 3833 Rider Lane, Havre de Grace, MD 21078.
