Obituary

Joyce Fay Plesic of Havre de Grace, MD passed away surrounded by the love of her family on June 30, 2020 at her home. She was 86 and the beloved wife of the late Edward Plesic.

She was born May 27, 1934 in Pennsylvania to the late Cosler A. Johnson and Gertrude (Passmore) Johnson. She was the devoted mother of Patricia Louise Cover and her husband Dean Cover, and Melinda Jeanne Carnohan. She was the adoring grandmother of Cory Brandon Cover, Kyle Brendan Cover, Christopher Joseph Carnohan, Donald Joseph Carnohan and Brittany Jeanne Kleber and great grandmother to nine great grandchildren. Joyce was the loving sister to Betty Collier and twin Loyce Dunlap. She was predeceased by her sons Clinton Edward House and Spencer Keith House.

Joyce enjoyed reading, gardening, singing and watching football. She also loved basket weaving and was a member of the Deep Creek Basketry Guild. Joyce cherished spending time with her family.

A viewing will be held Tuesday July 7, 2020 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A. 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD 21078. Funeral service will be held Wednesday July 8, 2020
at 10 A.M. Interment will be held at Oak Lawn Cemetery, Baltimore, MD.
