Kathryn Ann Cimo of Havre de Grace, MD passed away February 7, 2021 peacefully with the love of her family. She was 74 years old and the loving wife of Fred J. Cimo, Jr.
Born in Belleville, NJ to the late Russell V. Confroy, Sr. and Mary Lynch Confroy. She was the devoted mother to Fred J. Cimo, III (Paula), Anthony V. Cimo (Sandy) and Mary Kay Coughlan (Ken), adoring grandmother of Madison Cimo (Brandon Bell), Nicholas Cimo, Juliana Cimo, Sarah Coughlan, James Coughlan, Brock Cimo and Jade Cimo. She was the sister of Mary “Bobbi” Dombrowski (late Richard), Russell Vincent Confroy, Jr. (Maryann) and the late Joseph Confroy and Ann Confroy.
Mrs. Cimo after graduating high school, continued pursuing her education at Newark College of Engineering (now New Jersey Institute of Technology), graduating with her Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering. Over the years she added many job titles to her life including substitute teaching, math specialist, bank worker and most importantly homemaking and caregiver. She was an avid genealogist, crocheted, and loved sudoku puzzles. Her true passion was her faith and being a wife, mother and grandmother.
A viewing will be held on February 24, 2021 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD 21078.
A Funeral Mass will be held on February 25, 2021 at 10 A.M. at the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 615 Congress Ave., Havre de Grace, MD 21078. Officiating will be Father Dale Picarella.
Interment will be at Mt. Erin Cemetery following the Mass.
It was Mrs. Cimo’s last wish that in lieu of flowers, friends and family may make contributions to The Kitchen Door, 615 Congress Ave., Havre de Grace, MD 21078.
