Obituary for Lorraine Donaldson (Leavitt)

Lorraine Leavitt Donaldson, of Havre de Grace, MD passed away on December 12, 2017 at the age of 87. Mrs. Donaldson was born in Auburn, Maine, to Percival and Cassie Leavitt. She was the loving wife of the late Thomas Alexander Donaldson, Sr., and the devoted mother of Thomas A. Donaldson, Jr. and John C. Donaldson and his wife Kimberly. She was the beloved grandmother to Thomas A. Donaldson, III, Lauren A. Fitzgerald, Adam Donaldson, Brandon Donaldson and Connor Donaldson. She was the great-grandmother of Monica Ferguson, Alex Penrow, Serenity, Lexi and Wyatt Donaldson. She was the sister of the late John Rollins Leavitt.
Mrs. Donaldson was a devoted member to The First Baptist Church, where she served as a Deaconess, Sunday School Teacher, and a member of the Social Committee. She loved to cross-stitch, crochet, and knit.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 6 to 8 P.M. at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD 21078.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 15, 2017 at 11 A.M. at The First Baptist Church, 108 S. Stokes Street, Havre de Grace, MD.
Interment will be held in Mount Auburn Cemetery, Auburn, ME.
Pallbearers will be Adam, Brandon, and Connor Donaldson, Thomas Donaldson, III, and Lauren Fitzgerald.
Contributions may be made in her memory to Crossroads Community Church, P.O. Box 887, Bel Air, MD 21014.
