Mark Anthony Burkowski, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on
March 16, 2021. He was 47.
Mr. Burkowski was born in Baltimore, MD. He was the son of Ronald
O’Meara and the late Phyllis O’Meara. Mr. Burkowski is survived by his
wife of 6 years, Jenny Burkowski, his first wife Renee Silvey, his children
Mark Zachary Burkowski (Mori Montgomery), Morgan Ann Burkowski,
Madison Ryan Burkowski, Jordan Anthony Burkowski, and Evelyn Taylor
Burkowski, and his granddaughter Marina Rose Burkowski. He was the
brother of Richard Frey, Jr., (Traci), Christine Folks (Albert), and uncle of
Ryan and Julia Frey and Rachel, Rebecca, and Shannon Folks.
Mr. Burkowski retired from the U.S. Army as a Chief Warrant Officer 4 (CW4). He spent the majority of his career serving as a Water Craft Engineer and then transitioned to a Physicians Assistant. He deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and multiple watercraft missions worldwide. After retirement from the Army, he served the community as a Physicians Assistant. Mr. Burkowski was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed cooking, gardening, and spending time with his family.
