Obituary for Mark Evan Kirkendall
Mark Evan Kirkendall of Havre de Grace, Maryland passed away on December 29, 2018 at the University of Maryland Medical Center from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on December 7th.
Mark was born in Havre de Grace, MD to Jane (Kirk) and the late Richard Dean Kirkendall and lived his entire life in the city he adored.
He was the loving brother of Gary D.(Vivien Perkins) and R. Scott (Linda Moxley) Kirkendall.
His first employment was at Benfield Electric Co. and later employment was at the city of Aberdeen for 20 years.
Mark’s hobbies were all related to water activities including crabbing, fishing, and boating. His fondest memories were of fishing for rockfish with his Dad.
During Mark’s high school years, he modeled for teenage fashion shows for the county.
He is also survived by his wife Teresa J. Kirkendall, and his sons Jordan T. And Jacob C. Kirkendall, as well as a step son Justin A. Vincenti (Amanda). Surviving additionally are two step grandchildren Jade A. and Lila M. Vincenti, niece Peyton Kirkendall and nephew Christopher Kirkendall,. all of Havre de Grace, MD.
The Rev. Richard Link will officiate. Serving as pallbearers will be Jacob and Jordan Kirkendall, Justin Vincenti, Timothy Zeigler, Christopher Kirkendall, and Richard Maines. A viewing will be held on Friday, January 4, 2019 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington St., Havre de Grace, MD 21078.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 11am at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A.
