Mary Ann Burton, of Port Deposit, MD, passed away on June 28, 2022. She was 93. Mrs. Burton was born in Danville, VA, to Charles Milam and Virginia Booth Milam.
She was the devoted wife to the late Charles Alfred Burton, Sr., loving mother of Terri DeBoard, Carol Del Frate, Donna Marie Cook, and the late Charles Burton, and Wanda Hirschy, grandmother of Jenny Clark, Andrea Del Collins, Christina King, Cassie Del Frate, Tricia Clayton, Virginia DeBoard, Christopher DeBoard, Samantha Cook, Clifton Cook, III, and LeAnn Cook, great-grandmother of Gabe, Brynn, Abby, Kira, Madison, Mason, Dawson, Weston, Kaylee, Gianna, and Clifton Cook, IV. She was predeceased by all of her siblings except for Sally Atkinson.
Mrs. Burton worked as a nurse for Citizens Care Center and then Perry Point VAMC. She was a huge supported of the Veteran’s Association, VFW, and the POW/MIA. She enjoyed sewing and quilting. Her true love was being with her family.
