Mary Jane Cooper, of Aberdeen, MD, passed away on December 21, 2014. She was 76.
She was born in Maysville, West Virginia, to John Leroy Walker and Clara Belle Walker. She was the wife of the late Leslie Raymond Cooper, loving mother of Kimberly Costa and her huband Lawrence “Ed” Costa, Jr., of Aberdeen, MD. She was the adored grandmother of Jessica DeHart, Stephanie Costa, and Ryan Costa, and great-grandmother of Braeden Costa and Brooklin Chandler. She was the dear sister of Lucy Terlouw, Oleita McGown, Donna Skrivanek, Nola Twombley, and the late Glen Walker and Ronnie Walker.
Mrs. Cooper was a member of First Christian Church and Young At Heart. She enjoyed playing Bingo. She dedicated her life to her family and her church.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2014, from 10:00- 11:00 AM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will begin at 11:00. Pastor Ron Tabor will officiate. Interment will be held at Tabernacle Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Roy Skrivanek, Glen Skrivanek, Leonard Skrivanek, Steven Skrivanek, Braeden Costa, and Chuck Long.
