Obituary for Nathan Scott Kelley

Our sweet angel boy, Nathan Scott Kelley, went to heaven on July 29, 2023. In his three short years, he taught us more about life, love and trust in others.
He will be deeply missed by his loving parents, Camryn B. Phillips and Mason S. Kelley; his best friend and love of his life, his baby sister, whom he protected fiercely, Adeline G. Kelley; his grandparents Jennifer L. Saulsbury “Jma” & Ron Dixon “Wonald”, Warren L. Phillips II “Pop Pop” & Robin Phillips “Robbie”, David R. Kelley “Pop Pop” & Lisa Kelley “Nana”, Donna Wagner “Nona” & Justin Morgan “Poppy Justin”, one great grandfather Warren Phillips, five great-grandmothers Barbara Saulsbury, Christina Phillips, Linda Kelley, Mary Bridge, Donna Davis and one great-great grandmother Marybelle Miller. His aunts Kristen Kelley “Aunt Kris”, Lisa Fisher, Morgan Phillips “Aunt Mo”, Paityn Phillips “Aunt P”, Morgan Kelley and uncles Craig Kelley, Adam Kelley, Conner Moore, Dylan Moody, Bill Fisher and many cousins & friends who loved him dearly and adored him with all their hearts.
For those who had the privilege to know him and love him, knew he had an infectious smile that could light up a room and the ability to make everyone laugh and see through any bad day. He loved spider-man and dinosaurs - so much that he taught his sister how to make dinosaur sounds, “Bluey”, blowing bubbles, all animals especially doggies, picking flowers for his mommy and baby sister, jumping in puddles, cuddling, bath-time, fishing with his father, being outside playing, laying up with a big bowl of buttery popcorn, going to the park, getting slushies, going to Chick-Fil-A, playing in sand, exploring the beach, cooking with mommy, playing with his sister, dancing to “Beat It” by Michael Jackson and enjoying time with his family and friends. He always knew how to make things fun, with a gifted mind and imagination Nathan had a way of reminding you every day how important the little things were.
“I am the Lord; I have called you in righteousness; I will take you by the hand and keep you.” Isaiah 42:6
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
He will be laid to rest in Tilghman Island, MD next to his great-grandfather David “Bunky” L. Miller, who we know greeted him in Heaven with big, wide open arms, eternal love, and lots of kisses. He will forever be our little angel in our hearts, and we will always keep his memory alive.
Services will be held privately for family.
