Walter, Bob, Dan, Cathy & Bill: Tom and I were heartbroken to hear if Patty’s passing and are sharing in your sorrow. Patty & Walt both have been very close friends to us over the years. Walt has been a childhood & lifelong friend of Tom - they grew up together and remain friends today. I met Patty around 1983 through her cousin, Debbie Bowers and we immediately clicked as good friends. Debbie and I would go to O.C. to visit Patty on occasional weekends and between the 3 of us, we always had a glorious time. Bill may remember those weekends when we visited Patty as he was living & working there, too.

After Patty relocated back to HdG after years of living & working in O.C., I played a part in her gaining employment at the HdG Record Newspaper where I worked as a graphic designer. She & I loved working at our hometown newspaper! Then the Record was sold to the Aegis and Patty transferred up there and I went back to work at The Cecil Whig. When I began to date Tom, we introduced her to Walt and she immediately was smitten with Walter! In her heart, she knew that she would marry him...someday. Tom and I married in 1989 and we decided to marry at the Bel Air Courthouse so I asked Patty to be our only witness. The weather that cold, blustery November day was nothing short of tornadic and it was all we could do to remain upright walking on the Bel Air streets into the Courthouse. It was seriously hilarious seeing the 3 of us struggle against the wind, lol. Tom and I had a son, Christopher in 1990 and Walt & Patty married just like she had hoped. As our roles changed and the years passed, we unfortunately lost touch with each other for several years, even though Walt & Patty lived down the street! Patty and I had just recently reconnected on Facebook and were just beginning to catch up with each other. I will forever regret the years that we lost touch, wasting precious time. Patty was a dear, sweet friend. Never having a bad word to say about anyone. Always encouraging, always looking at the bright side of life, always the faithful & sweet friend. Her light will be missed. But her memory in our hearts will forever remain.

It is our heartfelt prayer that the Lord will comfort you all with His perfect peace and love. Until we meet again, Patty... 😢

Trish. I didn’t know you all that well but the few times we did connect you were always very nice and would provide thoughtful conversation. I appreciate the love, kindness and patience you gave my friend Walter. He is indeed a lucky guy. RIP my friend.

Trish was my case manager when she worked at Mosaic Community Services in Belcamp. I was saddened to hear of her death. I remember her as always caring about others and trying to help in whatever way she could. She was kind and compassionate. I have good memories of my conversations with her and memories from the various activities and groups we had at Mosaic. I am grateful for all of her help. In her obituary it states, "the family intends to carry on her spirit of helping and requests that, in lieu of flowers, please perform a random act of kindness in her memory." I will do this and encourage others to do so as well. Kathy Stitz

I am with you, Kathy. Its hard to see her go after all these years. Trish was one of my first counselors at Alliance, when the Belcamp office still was an Alliance office, and she was a stickler when it came to inspections. I'm sure she is smiling nonetheless wherever she is. -Will

Patty was my best friend growing up. We lived two houses apart. We had lots of adventures. She was a huge part of my life. I am so sad to learn that she’s gone. My heart goes out to her family. I am so sorry for your loss.
