Obituary for Patrick Ryan "Ryan" Kinsey

Patrick “Ryan” Kinsey, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on July 18, 2022. He was 47.

Ryan was born in Havre de Grace, MD, to Stephen Potts Kinsey and Claudia Jamison Kinsey. He was the loving brother of Stephen Potts Kinsey II, brother-in-law of Susan Brown Kinsey, and adoring uncle of Lila and Drew Kinsey. Ryan was the grandson of the late Howard and Jean Jamison and Jacqueline and George Kinsey.

Ryan was a 1993 graduate of Havre de Grace High School and attended Salisbury University. Well known for his bartending and cooking skills, Ryan worked in Ocean City for approximately 20 years. Once he moved back to Havre de Grace, he worked at Operative Experience. Since middle school, Ryan was an avid lacrosse player and fan and played Club Lacrosse while attending Salisbury. He enjoyed cooking, skateboarding, and books and movies about war history, especially WWII and the Civil War.
But most of all, Ryan’s superpower was to make people laugh. People who were lucky enough to know Ryan undoubtedly have some hilarious stories and probably were talked into doing things that were not planned when they woke up that day.

Please join his family and friends to share some of these stories in a celebration of his life, on Thursday, July 28, 2022, from 5-8 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington St., Havre de Grace, MD.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ryan’s memory to Parkville Adaptive Lacrosse Program. Checks should be written to Parkville Rec., and mailed to Marty Delany, 7911 Elmhurst Avenue, Parkville, MD 21234.
