We will always be grateful to Doc for the kindness he showed us and in welcoming us to Harford County. We were colleagues. Condolence From: Terry Noye
Condolence: My most sincere condolences to the family and extended family of Doc Cook. He was a wonderful man and a great veterinarian, as every animal that he took care of was treated as if it was his own. Doc was the veterinarian for the Sheriff's Office K-9, beginning in the mid-1960's. When my K-9 partner became terminally ill, Doc took care of his final moments and tears flowed from both of our eyes. Over the years, I would visit with Doc and we would have extended "bull-shooting" sessions in his office, always beginning with our families, then onto his safaris, the NRA and a little bit of politics. Doc will be sorely missed, but I know that he God needed a great veterinarian and Doc is by his side taking care of any situation that arises. God bless you Doc, and your family. All is well.

Condolence From: Marc A Eaton
Condolence: What a great loss to the community. I first met Dr Cook when I went into K-9 with the Sheriff's Office in 1988. He was so nice and answered all my questions. I could call him no matter what the time and get a hold of him. He took special care of all of our Partners. When I lost my Partner due to cancer he was there with the words I needed to hear to help with the loss. I enjoyed working the Farm Fair and speaking with him there when he had time. I would like to send my sincere condolences to Dr. Cooks family and many friends. He was a part of the County community and he can never be replaced. Thank you Dr. Cook for allowing me to call you a friend and most of all for the well needed advice from a young K-9 handler.

Condolence: My family is absolutely devastated at the loss of Doc. He was a very special man who touched many many people through their babies. I will never forget him as he "came out of retirement" to assist us with our baby, Kelsey, when it was her time. Kelsey's ashes as well as Dipstick's ashes are spread out over his property where we all knew they should be. Deepest heartfelt condolences to the family left behind.

Condolence: Extending my deepest sympathy and prayers to all of Doc's family and friends. Knowing it was coming has not made it any easier to bear with the loss of one of the two greatest men I have ever known. There will be an empty place in many of our hearts without Doc. I'm privileged live on with so many great memories and pictures of our trips and adventures together in my mind. As has been said before there are just so many things in the life of this man that many will never know. Love ya Doc. See ya again one day. Larry

Condolence From: Cheryl (Cockerham) Miller
Condolence: Extending my deepest sympathy to the family, friends, and colleagues of the finest veterinarian and most interesting, incredible person I have met. I remember him from when I was just a very little girl as our family vet, taking great care of our four-legged family members. I know he was a great friend to my uncle, and other members of my family. He showed such tender care and compassion to our pets, and us when things weren't going well with our pets. There were many other aspects of this man that I can't even speak to. What a joy to have known him, and what sadness to lose him. God Bless you all.
