Robert "RF" Fortune Blevins


Robert (RF) Fortune Blevins, of Havre de Grace, MD, went Home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Harford Memorial Hospital, Havre de Grace, MD. Robert was 90.

Robert was born in Damascus, VA to the late Lawrence and Creecy Blevins.

Robert served three years in the U. S. Army (the Panama Canal Zone).

Robert is survived by his beloved wife Bonnie Blevins of 66 years, his eight children: Barry Blevins & wife, Connie (Lansing, NC); Rainelle Holcomb (Port Deposit, MD); Rochelle Muir & husband, Jim (Havre de Grace, MD); Danielle Bungori and husband, Alex (Havre de Grace, MD); Rodney Blevins and Marie (Aberdeen, MD); Kip Blevins (New Freedom, PA); Robin Dawson and husband, Troy (Aberdeen, MD); Jann Blevins and Karen (Havre de Grace, MD); his brother Ernest Blevins (Jefferson, NC); 24 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren and 2 great great grand children.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his brother, Norval Davis; his granddaughter, Angela Gearhart; and his son-in-law, Jack Holcomb.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 12 Noon to 2:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Pastor Donald Smith of Antioch Baptist Church will officiate.

Interment will be in West Nottingham Cemetery, Colora, MD.
