Obituary for Robert Norris Jackson Sr.
Robert N. Jackson, Sr., 79, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away at Harford Memorial Hospital on July 8, 2022.
Born in Cecil County on October 29, 1942, Robert was the son of the late Norris Venton and Clara Frances Light Jackson. He worked during his life in construction for various companies. Robert enjoyed hunting and fishing, cars and motorcycles. He also could be found working in his garden. He will mostly be remembered for his devotion to his family and being a true “family man”.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 57 years, Irene Price Jackson; his son, Robert N. Jackson Jr. and his wife Brenda; his grandchildren, Robert Austin Jackson and Emily Claire Fahnestock; Nicholas, Chelsea, and Anthony Rivera; and four great grandchildren, Annabella, Gannon, Carson and Bryson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Helen Biddle and Georgia Cox.
A visitation will be held at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington St., Havre de Grace, MD, 21078 on Wednesday July 13, 2022 from 6-8:00 pm and services honoring his life will be held Thursday July 14, 2022 at 11:00 am. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Harford Memorial Gardens.
