Obituary for Rosemary Elder Pinamonti (Elder)

Rosemary Elder Pinamonti, a life-long resident of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on November 7, 2022. She was 84.

Rosemary, was the matriarch to her large, adoring family, and beloved Nanny to her 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She shared a love for travel with her husband, the late Richard Pinamonti, which sent them on many adventures all over the world. Her favorite times were the yearly summer vacations at the beach with the entire family. Family birthdays, sporting events, graduations and Sunday dinners were all of great importance to her. She was a long-time member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church where she sang in the church choir. She was also a member of the Archdiocesan Choir where she sang at the Vatican for two different Popes. She volunteered at the visitor’s center in Havre de Grace for many years.

Mrs. Pinamonti was the mother of Theresa “Terry” Anderson (Doug), Eileen Webster (Harry), Barbara Boniface (Billy), Rick Pinamonti, and the late Anne Marie Bathon (Larry). She was the grandmother of Doug Anderson, Jr., Lauren Anderson, Michele Cox, Emily Opio, Jennifer Bieschke, Nan Peppmuller, Bill Boniface, Bethany Boniface, Larry Bathon, Ellie Bathon, Jack Pinamonti, Leo Pinamonti, Max Pinamonti, Henry Pinamonti, and the late Ben Boniface, great-grandmother of Avery and Tucker Anderson, Cali Peppmuller, Scarlett and Thomas Bieschke, and Logan and Lincoln Opio. Mrs. Pinamonti was the sister of Carol Bryson, Bob Elder, Mike Elder, Dennis Elder, and the late Cathy Deibel.

A viewing will be held on Monday, November 14th from 5pm – 8pm at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington St., Havre de Grace, MD. A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Tuesday, November 15 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 615 Congress Avenue, Havre de Grace, MD at 10am. Interment will be held at Mt. Erin Cemetery.
