Rosie Lee Briney, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on September 7, 2020. She was 78.
Mrs. Briney was born in Havre de Grace, MD, to Graham Rutherford and Sina Long Rutherford. She was the devoted wife of the late Carl Briney, loving mother of Ronald L. Stanyard, Sr., (Betty), Jeff Briney, Sr., Benny Stanyard Sr., Carl Briney, Jr., Vera Stanyard, and the late Kenny Stanyard. She was the grandmother of Benny Stanyard, Jr., Ronald Stanyard, Jr., Charlie Mauck, Danny Hash, Jeffrey Briney, Jr., and Lisa Briney, and Aiden Lee Stanyard, Sophia Lynn Stanyard, and Isabella Lanae Stanyard. Mrs. Briney was survived by a brother, Bennett Rutherford and predeceased by her 7 other siblings. She was also survived by her daughter-in-law, Leslie Stanyard.
Mrs. Briney was a fan of Elvis and TV Land. She loved raising her children, grandchildren and taking care of others in the community.
Services will be private.
