Shirley Ann Bowman of Havre de Grace, MD passed away on March 17, 2020 at her home. Shirley was the loving wife of Lonnie Bowman, who she was married to for 45 years.Born in Ft. Eustis, VA to the late William and Betty Gompers, sheis survived by a daughter, Lisa Reed Keithley, and three grandchildren, Tyler, Alyssa and Wyatt. She is also survived by abrother, Roger Gompers, several nephews and nieces who she was close to, and many friends, all who will miss her deeply. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Jack Gompers, her brother, Bill Gompers, her sister, Ellen Hartsock and her nephew, Chris Hartsock.Shirley had retired as a hairdresser after many years. She loved her friends and family and enjoyed get togethers, having outdoorpool parties, cooking, bowling and shopping. Shirley was a caring, witty, and giving person, who was honest to a fault, but you always knew where you stood with her. A viewing will be held from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M., with the family in attendance from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M., on March 22, 2020 at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington Street, Havre deGrace, MD 21078.
