Shirley J. Vannoy of Havre de Grace, MD passed away at her home on April 20, 2019 surrounded by the love of her family. She was 58 years old. She was the beloved wife of James R. Vannoy.
Mrs. Vannoy was born in North Tazewell, VA to Shirley Ann (Catron) Remines and the late Claude E. Remines. She was the devoted mother to Brandy McCurdy (Melvin Ridgley), Demetrius Vannoy and Russell Vannoy. She was the loving grandmother to Isiah, Elijah, Eden McCurdy and Kenya Ridgley. She is survived by her siblings Darrell Remines, Sherri Parrett and Kimberly Shrewsbury.
Mrs. Vannoy loved and adored her cats. She enjoyed dancing and all genres of music. She loved her crossword and word search puzzles.
A viewing will be held on Friday, April 26, 2019 from 11 A.M. to 12 P.M. at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD 21078. Where a funeral service will be held at 12 P.M. Interment will be at Harford Memorial Gardens in Aberdeen, MD.
Officiating will be Pastor Robert N. Savage from Room at the Cross Church.
