Obituary for Skylar Alicemarie Jones-Miller
Skylar AliceMarie Jones, of Perryville, MD, passed away on January 16, 2024. She was 14 years old.
Skylar was born in Bel Air, MD, to Katherine “Kate” F. Jones, Stepfather, James Dehaven and father, Ronnie Miller Jr. She was the loving sister of Allyson Jones, the late Gaige Dehaven, and Gabbryella Jones, her cousin who was like a sister. Skylar was the granddaughter of Katherine and Matthew Jones, Angela and Brian Chagnon, and Claude “Junior” Henderson and Betty Dehaven, niece of Aunt Tara Kitner (Lacey), Tracy Leary (Shannon), Amanda Trubiano (Keera), and Uncle Matthew Jones Jr., (Allison) Aunt Ciara Chagnon, Amanda Miller-Jones (Justin). She is also survived by many other great-grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Skylar was an Honor Roll Student at Perryville Middle School. She was all about her make-up and her eyelashes. Skylar enjoyed social media, taking pictures, her friends and family, and liked listening to music. She wanted to be an interior designer and produce music when she grew up. Skylar was a member of the Salvation Army Youth Group. She was known for being a hard worker. She helped her Poppop Jones and her Mom put roofs on during the summer so she could earn money to shop with.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024, from 5-6 PM, at Salvation Army, 300 Seneca Avenue, Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will begin at 6 PM.
