Obituary for Teresita V. "Tess" Ramos (Villareal)

Teresita “Tess” V. Ramos, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on May 19, 2015. She was 77.
Mrs. Ramos was born in Santa Cruz - Manila, Phillipines, to Antonio Villareal and Maura Santos Villareal. She was the devoted mother of Rosemary Cook and her husband Mark, Manuel Ramos, Jr., and his wife Tami, Reginald “Regi” Ramos and his wife Holly, and Rainier Ramos and his wife Sheila. She was the adored grandmother of Megan Ramos, Rainier (RJ) Ramos, Jr., and Lauren Ramos. She was the dear sister of Daniel “Danny” Villareal, Antonio “Tony” Villareal, Jr., Francesca “Pangking” Picones, and Teresa “Terri” Guinn.

Mrs. Ramos was proud of her work as a receptionist for Dr. Perdomo and as a mail & file clerk at Aberdeen Proving Ground. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. She baked wedding cakes for many people in the area and also enjoyed making gingerbread houses. Her hobbies included going to dinner theaters, shopping, especially at farmer’s markets, spending time in her garden, and traveling. She was well known for making delicious Filipino food. Her main focus in life was taking care of her grandchildren and family.

A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Monday, May 25, 2015, at 12:00 PM, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 615 Congress Avenue, Havre de Grace, MD.
