Obituary for Vincent Michael Barranco Sr.

Vincent Michael Barranco, Sr., of Port Deposit, MD, passed away on September 8, 2017. He was 67.

Mr. Barranco was born in Bel Air, MD, to the late Samuel Barranco, Sr., and Sarah Lou Bishop Barranco. He was the devoted husband of 39 years to Pamelia Sue May Barranco and loving father of Vincent Michael Barranco, Jr., of Arlington, VA, and Casey Hall of Aberdeen, MD. Known as Mike to family and friends, Mr. Barranco was the youngest sibling of Elizabeth Ann Varble, of Madison, IN, Rose Irene LaRocca of Bristow, VA, and the late Samuel Barranco, Jr. He is also survived by his son-in-law, David Hall and two grandsons, Kobe and Landon Hall.

Mr. Barranco attended St . Margaret school and graduated from Bel Air High. He spent his career at the Perry Point VA Medical Center where he worked as a sheet metal mechanic and played in the recreational golf league. A do-it-yourselfer, Mr. Barranco did many projects around the house and took pride in the craftsmanship of his work. He enjoyed being with his family, especially taking care of his grandchildren and spoiling the family dog, Skipper.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2017, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Services will follow at Harford Memorial Gardens.
