Obituary for Watson Gray Norman
Watson Gray Norman, of Aberdeen, MD, passed away on November 25, 2019. He was 81.
Mr. Norman was born in Trap Hill, NC, to Walter Gray Norman and Virgie May Atkins Norman. He was the husband of the late Sadie Norman and long-time companion of Sheila Vancampen. He was the loving father of Patricia A. Norman- Duvall and her husband Greg, Watson G. Norman, Jr., and his wife Kathy, and Fred W. Norman and his wife Trudie, grandfather of William Norman (Tamara), Ross Duvall (Carrie), Nathan Norman, Corey Duvall, Kristen Vencill (Stephen), Sara Reid (Dan), Sara I. Crumrine (Gary), and Ashton Norman, and great-grandfather of Harper Duvall, Julia Norman, Sawyer Duvall, Chase Vencill, Carson Vencill and Weston Norman. Mr. Norman was the brother of Goodman Norman, Robert D. Norman, Charles Norman, and the late James Norman and Doris Norman.
Mr. Norman served in the U.S Army during Vietnam. He was a truck driver for many years, owning and operating his own truck. He enjoyed driving trucks, riding motorcycles, and rebuilding and restoring automobiles. Mr. Norman also enjoyed traveling.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2019, from 2-3 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington St., Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will begin at 3 PM. Pastor Lynne Humphries-Russ will officiate.
