Obituary for William Richard "Bill" Mullinix
William “Bill” R. Mullinix of Havre de Grace, MD passed away with the love of his family on February 18, 2022, at the age of 54 years. He was the loving husband of 33 years to Sharon L. Mullinix.
Born in Baltimore, MD to the late Donna (Zechman) Mullinix. He was the devoted father of Rebecca “Becca” M. Smith and her husband Todd. Bill was the brother to Donna Reichert (Steven) and Sarah Edwards (Bruce), adored uncle of Jessica Myers (Rob) and great-uncle of Preston Speck. He is survived by his mother-in-law F. Arlene Scales, Brother-in-laws; Kenneth Wheeler (Sue) and Jack Willis (Betzy), Cousin Sean Gable (Emily )and their children Katelyn, Thomas and Hailey Gable. He leaves behind several nieces and nephews whom he adored and his beloved Boxers Roxy and Rosey.
Mr. Mullinix was a Fleet Transportation Manager for Bob’s Discount Furniture. He enjoyed working and restoring Ford trucks and cars, fishing at his favorite pier, camping and golfing. He loved and enjoyed the town of Havre de Grace with his wife, it was a regular routine for him and his wife to visit the Concord Point Coffee shop, often enjoying a Chess game with his daughter over coffee. He enjoyed riding his bike through town and then coming back home to ride bikes again through town with his wife. He enjoyed driving through Havre de Grace on his regular route and walking, shopping in town. Bill and Sharon were high school sweethearts and where you found one, the other was there as well.
A celebration of life will be held at the American Legion Post #47, 501 St. John Street, Havre de Grace, MD 21078 on Sunday, February 27, 2022, from 12 P.M. to 5 P.M. Where a service will be held at 3 P.M.
