Alma Elloween Price, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully at her home in Port Deposit, Maryland, on January 14, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born on April 17, 1936, in Wise, Virginia, she lived a life rich with love, faith, and community.
Alma proudly dedicated her career as a Hotel Clerk for Days Inn in Aberdeen, MD, where her warm-hearted nature and welcoming smile made many guests feel at home. However, her true legacy lies beyond her professional endeavors. She was a faithful Christian, nurtured deep within the beliefs that guided her and inspired those around her. Her devotion to her family was boundless; she cherished her daughters, Rose Price, Deborah Hall, and Diane Saia (Al).
Her legacy lives on with her grandchildren, Rachael Astle (Randy), Gregory Hall, Erik Hall, who were the apples of her eye, and her great-grandchildren, Sierra Nicks, Reba Bowen, Serenity Nicks, Brielynn Hall, Bentley Hall, Makayla Astle, Jayce Astle, who brought her immeasurable joy and pride. Alma's heart was vast, overflowing with love for her family, which truly shaped her life’s purpose.
Alma was not only an adoring family member but also a passionate participant in the life of her community. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Havre de Grace, MD, where she found solace and joy in church activities. Her hobbies reflected her nurturing spirit; she loved gardening, often growing beautiful blooms that brightened her surroundings. Cooking was another passion of hers, as she delighted in sharing meals with her family. Many cherished memories were made sitting outside on the porch during the warm summer days, enjoying the laughter of children and the love of those closest to her.
Alma is survived by her daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her sister, Elda Mullins, along with many nieces and nephews who will remember her strength and kindness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence & Bessie (Wells)Robinette, her husband Teddy Lee Price, Grandsons Michael Saia & Geoffrey Hall, and her fourteen siblings.
Her visitation will take place at the First Baptist Church located at 108 Stokes Street in Havre de Grace, MD, on January 23, 2026, starting at 11:00 AM, followed by a memorial service at 12:00 PM, concluding at 1:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to come and share their fondest memories and honor the indelible mark she has left on our hearts.
Alma Elloween Price will be deeply missed, yet her spirit and love continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched throughout her wonderful life.
