Alvin Richard Price, Sr., of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on September 22, 2020. He was 87.
Mr. Price was born in Havre de Grace, MD, to Norman Paul Price and Irene Elizabeth Hummer Price. He was the devoted husband of the late Patricia Ann Price, loving father of Alvin Price, Jr., Michelle Ann Price, both of Perryville, MD, Denise Renee Hignutt (Eric) of Aberdeen, MD, and Joseph Mitchell. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was the brother of David Price and Irene Jackson and the late Kenneth Price, Billy Price and Ruth Kasmaric.
Mr. Price was a United States Army Veteran. He worked for the Board of Education and Price's Seafood. He was a member of the American Legion Post #47 in Havre de Grace. Mr. Price enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing and as a true Marylander loved his steamed crabs.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2020 from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 1 P.M. at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A. Interment will be at Harford Memorial Gardens, Aberdeen, MD.
