Obituary

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Ami Lynn McIntyre, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who passed away on January 3, 2026, at the University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health in Aberdeen. She was born on December 23, 1979, in Pennsylvania, and from an early age, Ami stood out for her warmth and compassion, traits that would define her throughout her life.

Educated as a high school graduate, Ami dedicated herself to her passion for nurturing her family. As a homemaker, she created a loving environment filled with laughter, creativity, and warmth. Ami’s personality shone brightly; she was fun, kind, and caring, making every gathering a cherished memory for those who knew her.

Ami had a myriad of interests that brought her joy. She found pleasure in watching television series, enveloping herself in the story and drama that unfolded onscreen. Her heart danced to the rhythm of the '90s R&B and Hip-Hop music. She enjoyed shopping and watching the latest movies, always sharing her time with her loved ones.

Above all, Ami held a profound love for her family. She is survived by her devoted daughter Jaden McIntyre, her sons Deven and Cannon McIntyre, and her precious grandson Roman Utrera. Each of them carries forward her legacy of love and kindness. Additionally, she leaves behind her brother Clinton McIntyre, who will forever cherish the bond they shared.

Ami was preceded in death by her parents, the late Matthew S. Eisner and Denise L. McIntyre, whose influence and love shaped the compassionate person she became.

As we remember Ami Lynn McIntyre, we celebrate the vibrant spirit that lit up our lives. Her laughter and love will forever remain in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

As we navigate this difficult time, anyone who wishes to make a donation towards funeral expenses, may do so here online. Any donation, no matter how small, will help us honor Ami's memory. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support and kindness.

Rest in peace, dear Ami. Your kindness and warmth will be greatly missed but never forgotten. A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
